I was on a business trip recently in Thailand and the client I was meeting with actually lived there and told me about the Phuket villas where I could stay. I checked into one and it was fabulous, the views were amazing and I knew I would have to get some playtime in during my trip. The people were very interesting and quite friendly, those who were natives taught me quite a bit about the culture and country. I was amazed at the rich history and the pride in the people. For some reason, I was able to get a lot of work accomplished while I was there and also had a lot of time to play.

When making plans to take an expensive trip, I like to be sure that all of my ducks are in a row. For instance, I make sure my passport is up to date, I have copies of my itinerary, and I make sure that I have my finances in order in case I am going to a country with a foreign currency. Next to those items, I always prepare for my trip with travel insurance direct line of insurance to cover me in case something happens that may destroy my vacation plans. For example, if I have booked a hotel in one of my destinations and it goes broke before I get there, the insurance will pay me what I paid so I won’t lose my money and can use it for another location.

My husband retired from his business four years ago with a great retirement plan. We had no big payments to make, and so we began to plan trips to as many exotic places as we could manage while our health was still good. We have seen some incredibly beautiful spots, but one of my personal favorites has to be South Africa. You can feel the influence of so many cultures in this wonderful country. We flew there from Europe, rented a sight-seeing vehicle from durban car rental, and spent a month wandering around the countryside. It was a month I shall never forget and worth every bump on every back road.

Spain’s Benidorm is the perfect destination for fun and family-friendly holidaying, no matter what your budget. The seaside resort town on the Costa Blanca in Valencia boasts around 6 kilometres of calm, golden sand beaches that are among the best in Europe. However, what sets Benidorm apart from other Mediterranean destinations of its calibre are the number and quality of its inland amenities and activities and the plethora of good quality and cheap Benidorm hotels. With a huge range of attractions, beautiful beaches, 41,000 hotel beds, 1,000 restaurants, and 800 bars, it is unlikely that your family will want to leave Benidorm. Happy holidays!

Well, the b+b in Cavan definitely lived up to the claims on its website.  The owners have been in business for over thirty-five years and it shows.  They were very welcoming and made me feel like family.  My room was comfortably appointed and I had a lovely view of the grounds and surrounding forest.  The food was equal to any that I have eaten in four-star restaurants and I fear that I gained a few pounds that weekend.  This area has always been known for its excellent fishing and I found this claim to be true also.  When I was taking my leave on Monday morning, I confessed to the owners my true reason for staying at their Fishing Bed and Breakfast Accommodation Cavan.  They were thrilled when I told them I was giving their establishment a four-star rating and a glowing recommendation.

Here’s a quick recommendation for anyone thinking of heading to Turkey on their next holiday. The Concorde De Luxe Resort Hotel is an award winning 5 star resort and an excellent example of the quality of Turkey hotels. It’s located right on the beach in Turkey’s capital of Antalya and boasts an impressive range of accommodation and facilities meaning holidaymakers need never leave the hotel. The hotel was actually voted the ‘leading hotel in Turkey’ by Hotels4u.com and Medhotels.com at their recent awards ceremony. The Concorde’s all inclusive option offers the best value for money. For around £350 two people can enjoy a standard room with land view for seven nights.

While on our honeymoon we made friends with another young couple staying at the b+b.  After a few days of togetherness my lovely bride and I decided to go our separate ways for the day.  My new friend and I went golfing and the ladies enjoyed a day of riding at the nearby Cavan Equestrian Center.  It is amazing all that this area has to offer visitors.  Golfing, fishing, boating, walking, horseback riding, and a great b+b, too.  This is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway, a holiday, or, in our opinion, a honeymoon.  We have already decided to come back here every year to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

One way to book a flight is to go through a travel agent.  He or she will do all the work for you when it comes to getting the best prices and the best flight plans available.  You can also go online and type in the information yourself.  A search engine will find you what you need and you can book your flight right there.  Whichever way you choose, all you have to do is know your take off and destination points, the date you want to leave and come back, if you’re flying round trip, and whether you want first class or economy.
