IPA Beer is believed to have been developed in 1800s by English Brewers. The drink was primarily developed for the export market, the east India Company and other settlers who travelled to India on a frequent basis. The sea travels in those times were very long, took months even. So the new IPA Beer was formulated, having a better quality and could last longer, without losing its original taste! It was a modified version of the standard Pale Ale, whose reason of success was its superior ingredients and brewing methods. The one thing that really separates the IPA Beer from others is its unique blend. It has a very distinct taste.
