This is an excellent disc burner from Lenovo. This device is capable of working on both PC and MAC. The disc burner is capable of reading and writing a blu-ray disc at 6X speed and blu-ray rewritable disc at 4X speed. It is backward compatible and capable of working with many formats DVD, DVD-R, CD, dual layer discs etc. The speed varies from 40X for reading CDs and 24X for writing, 16X for regular DVDs and 4X for DVD rewritable. This device an- internal blu-ray burner can be connected via SATA or serial ATA. The disc writer does work decently, but the major limitation is slow.
